#### Information Privacy and Security - Secondary

With a focus on social media usage, this course will give students an introduction to cyber security and teach them how to keep their information safe online.

By playing the role of a hacker, students learn how personal data can be maliciously discovered and shared, and what we can do to prevent this.

In this course, students will learn:

- how to decide what personal information is safe to share online
- what makes a strong password
- how to improve online security with multi-factor authentication
- how to detect, and not fall victim, to phishing and scam attempts
